The Foods of Athenry, a family run business, is set among the famous rolling Fields of Athenry.

The milking cows have been replaced by mixers and ovens since making the change from a full-time dairy enterprise to a bakery  back in 2004!  

We carefully blend our unique mix of health and indulgence using original recipes with love, care and absolutely no additives in sight . And you dont have to take our word for the quality. 25 Taste Awards over the last few years  says it better than we ever could.

We use quality fresh ingredients to produce clean label products for a healthier lifestyle and all products are free from artificial colours, flavours, artificial sweeteners, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.

Over the years the bakery has expanded into more of the available building space and some of the land is  now utilised for native variety apple orchards. Starting small, we have evolved into the business we are today – producing deliciously wholesome award winning artisan  food for food lovers, the food conscious and the dietary restricted.

Part of that commitment saw us add on a dedicated gluten free facility in 2011 giving us two completely separate bakeries both producing food with that same high taste profile. ( Check out our news page to follow our Gluten Free journey. It was smokin' .. !  )
